About Myers 2015 United Way Campaign

United Way envisions a community where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, financial stability and healthy lives.

When Myers Industries is ALL-IN for United Way:
  • Children receive a quality education that offers a pathway to a brighter tomorrow.
  • The cycle of poverty and financial dependence ends, and productive livelihoods begin.
  • Everyone receives access to effective health care that improves quality of life.
  • Lives are improved by mobilizing the caring power of our community to advance the common good.

Did you know that when you donate to United Way you have the power to decide where your money goes?  As a United Way donor you may designate a portion or the full amount of your contribution to any eligible 501c3 organization.  The donor choice program allows donors to designation to other United Ways, affiliated agencies, non-affiliated agencies, three impact areas, and allows for exclusion of any affiliated agency.  For more details, visit www.uwsummit.org/policies.

To assist in learning about some of the local organizations United Way of Summit County supports, the 2015 United Way Committee has developed a series of “Agency Spotlights.”  One agency will be spotlighted each day throughout the course of the Myers Industries United Way campaign. We will provide a general overview of the agency and links for you to gather more information. Make sure you check back daily, you might just find a local agency you want to support.
