Current Position(s):

Product Line Manager, Akro-Mils Industrial Products

Job Description: Working at our Akron, Ohio sales office, the Industrial Products Manager coordinates all activities related to maintaining the industrial line of products. This position will work closely with the Market Manager and Director of Marketing to implement strategies in the areas of marketing communications, pricing, competitive/market analysis, and product information management.

Responsibilities: To support sales and drive revenue growth through implementation and execution of marketing strategies. The Product Manager is involved in all aspects of Industrial Product Line marketing including sales support, customer communications, marketing communications, direct mail, internet marketing / intranet communications, event planning and more.

The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA in Marketing or a related area. Two to three years experience in product marketing and an understanding of the B2B distribution environment is preferred. Experience working with industrial products, healthcare supplies, or catalog sales is a plus. Must have strong skills in project management, data analysis, leading cross-functional teams, problem solving, research, presentations and people.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support - Designs and delivers to the sales team the tools they need to communicate and sell products and value propositions.
Product Management - Monitor product life cycle, positioning, pricing and recommend revitalization efforts or consolidation strategies.
Marketing Communications - Work with marketing and sales directors to develop key message points and translate them into effective marketing campaigns and communications. Coordinate with the marketing communications department to execute marketing collateral, website and intranet content, e-communications, direct mail and print collateral.

Confidence in Excel, PowerPoint, and database-driven ERP applications
