DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 28, 1999, Akron, Ohio USA -- The Board of Directors of Myers Industries, Inc. (AMEX: MYE) today declared a regular $.06 per share dividend payable January 3, 2000, to shareholders of record as of December 10, 1999.
