DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 30, 1998, Akron, Ohio USA -- Myers Industries, Inc. (AMEX: MYE) Board of Directors today declared a $.05 per share quarterly cash dividend payable July 1, 1998, to shareholders of record as of June 12, 1998.
