Matthew Marchel

Matthew Marchel was named Vice President, Material Handling Segment – Rotational Molding in June 2022. 

Matthew joined Myers Industries as Senior Director, Strategy and Corporate Development in August 2021. Matthew has extensive experience in strategy development, sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain. Previous to joining Myers, Matthew worked as a Venture Director at Energy Foundry, a venture capital investment firm, and was the Managing Director of Smiley Capital Partners, an early-stage investment and executive advising firm.  Matthew spent over a decade at the Dow Chemical Company where he held multiple roles including leading Dow’s Building and Construction business, Divisional CFO, and Director of Strategy. A seasoned executive, he held additional senior roles in marketing and supply chain.  Earlier in his career, he worked for Linamar Corporation as a Sales Executive in the automotive sector.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
