Dr. Helmuth Ludwig was elected to the Myers Industries Board of Directors in October 2025 and brings 35 years of experience in international business leadership. He currently serves as a Professor of Practice for Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, a position he has held since January 2020. Previously, he spent 30 years with Siemens in executive positions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including President of Siemens PLM Software, CEO of the Siemens Industry Sector in North America, and Global Chief Information Officer. Dr. Ludwig holds an engineering degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a Doctorate from the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel.
